Renowned for her two decades of work in Entertainment, Event, PR and Business Coaching spheres and nominated for Telstra Business awards, Nicki’s qualification and experience in Workplace Training, Business Management Systems, Social Science and Musical Performance has been the breeding ground for the design of her signature program, The Metriculus™. Exclusively managing processes in her three companies, The Pushworth Group®, Australian Festival Management®, Pressing Issues® this program has served thousands of entertainers, promoters, festivals, campaigns and businesses over the past twenty years with its unique Branding Valuation System.

Designing the software program, Aquarius™ – an integrated CRM booking system that manages the sales and operations for entertainment industry businesses (managing Pushworth since 2000), Nicki is also the author of a collection of Industry Training programs working in partnership with Universities and Organizations throughout Queensland developing programs for Interns, Traineeships and Volunteers in Entertainment Recruitment, Event Management, Public Relations and Business Management. Having successfully managed the Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival for the past three years as Event Manager and Publicist, Nichola Burton is one hard working Australian business woman.

Training for a career in Creative Industries began in childhood spending school years as Choir Conductor, Orchestra Musical Director and Arranger, Music Teacher, Composer and Producer. This led to a place at the Conservatorium of Music at the tender age of 17 where the first year was spent in its recording studio recording her first album while juggling classes and rock gigs. By the age of 20, this creative entrepreneur had already collected a wealth of information about the music industry, media and her greatest love of all – business. Motherhood took over from the Conservatorium of Music, and interspersed between four children, Nicki morphed between Recording and Touring Artist, Artist Management, Producer, Composer to Entertainment Agent, Front Line Business Manager, Systems Software Designer, Workplace Trainer and Assessor, to Event Manager, Publicist, Brand Consultant to Author. 

While surfing the Personal Development wave for the past decade, Nicki undertook Human Behavior studies and worked as a Senior Facilitator for The Demartini Method ™ in London, Dublin and across Australia with Dr John F Demartini (from The Secret) while also establishing and managing several Personal Development Community Associations since 2005 and co-founding The Concourse of the Earth™ – a global community.

The Business/Personal Development Columnist for the Inner Self Magazine, Nicki was nominated as one of the Australian Western “Women Making a Difference” in January 2011, “Influential Woman of the 21st Century” in the January 2010 Edition of the magazine. Based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Nicki works with corporations, SME’s and individuals around the world providing a diverse range of business coaching services.
